Microplastics will still be in our cosmetics for years to come

Although research has proven that microplastics could potentially be harmful for our health, the EU ban on microplastics in make-up is still years away. MOMENTUM’s Emma Kasteel was interviewed by the Dutch news program ‘EenVandaag’ to talk about these microplastics. “The first indication is that they (microplastics) cause inflammation and have an effect on the hormone system.”
